TEEN SPORTS PERFORMANCE

GiffyFit Teens is a year-round sports training program for youth athletes between the ages of 11-18. Our program is designed to build a new generation of athletes, ones that are injury free and capable in all areas of fitness - strength, power, speed, accuracy, coordination, flexibility, cardio, stamina, balance, and agility. We build sport-specific performance for each individual athlete in our program, and accommodate their needs relative to their in-season and off-season schedules.

We have morning and evening sessions for GiffyFit Teens year round.

Benefits

  • Lean muscle mass

  • Explosiveness

  • Confidence

  • Learn new athletic skills to help excel in any sport

  • Develop life skills, a healthy mindset and sustainable fitness habits

Weightlifting

Weightlifting classes build power and strength.

Training sessions focus on barbell and dumbbell movements - this is our most popular program for in-season training. Learn weightlifting techniques and exercises that will carry athletes from beginners to high level college bound athletes.

This program develops power, prevents and rehabs injuries, increases joint stability, teaches strength that transfers directly to sport. All athletes start with a lightweight PVC pipe and build up to a barbell. All sessions begin with a coach-led warmup, primer, and technique work.

CROSSFIT

In CrossFit (aka GPP) you will build high levels of endurance, stamina, strength, and athleticism.

You will learn new skills and push physical and mental limits - this is our most popular off-season training program. If you’re looking to increase your overall fitness in the most effective and efficient way possible, this is it.

When you play multiple sports and multiple positions, a broad base of overall fitness matters!

Speed and Agility

Build coordination and fast-twitch muscle strength to sprint faster and change directions more quickly.

We use weightlifting, plyometrics, agility work, sprint mechanics and high intensity interval training to build speed and explosiveness.

Training Plan

During your first month, a coach, athlete and parent/guardian will sit down and revisit goals.

Everything is flexible, but we’ll give you our best advice.

The CrossFit Teens program was an awesome experience for me. I loved how accomplished I felt after completing a workout, how Nick pushed me to do my best and break my personal records, and how all of the other people in the gym were supportive, no matter what.

Before I did the program, I was almost always in pain, either from my joints or just being sore, and I didn’t really do anything else besides swimming, which isn’t very healthy. I’m really glad that I did the sports camp because it strengthened all of my muscles and joints, and it helped me become a better all around athlete.
